Amazon questions
Does the Amazon code expire?
Amazon says gift cards for amazon.ae are valid for 10 years from the date they are issued. No fees apply.
Can I use this card on another Amazon store?
No. Each card only works on the Amazon store that issued it, in that store's currency. Buy the card for the store where you shop.
Can I buy other gift cards with my balance?
No. Amazon does not allow gift card balance to pay for other gift cards.
Can I save my balance for later?
Yes. Amazon applies your balance to the next eligible order by default, but you can turn it off at checkout to keep it for another time.
Amazon says my code was already redeemed. What happened?
Check the Gift Card balance page in Your Account; the funds may already be there. If someone else had the code, it may be on their account, and Amazon cannot move redeemed balance between accounts.
How quickly will I get the code?
Most orders are in your account within 10 minutes. If your payment needs a security check, which is more common on a first order, it can take a little longer. The code is also saved in My Account › Orders.
What if the code doesn't work?
First check that you are redeeming it on amazon.ae. If it is and the code still shows an error, contact us with a screenshot of the message and your order number.
