IMVU questions
Can I redeem it in the IMVU mobile app?
No. IMVU says gift card redemption is not available on IMVU Mobile. Redeem on the website on a computer.
Can I use a gift card for VIP?
Yes. Choose VIP when you redeem. The VIP tier available depends on the card's value, and you get the same benefits as other VIP members.
I already pay for VIP by card or PayPal. Can I switch to a gift card?
Yes, but cancel your current subscription and wait for it to end before you redeem the gift card as VIP.
Can I extend my VIP with another card?
Yes. You can redeem another gift card at any time during your membership to extend it.
I picked the wrong option when redeeming. What now?
Contact IMVU support right away and explain what you meant to choose.
How quickly will I get the code?
Most orders are in your account within 10 minutes. If your payment needs a security check, which is more common on a first order, it can take a little longer. The code is also saved in My Account › Orders.
What if the code doesn't work?
First check that you entered the code and your player or account ID exactly as they appear. If it is and the code still shows an error, contact us with a screenshot of the message and your order number.
