A redemption code for Viu Premium, the paid tier of the Viu streaming service. It adds Premium access to your Viu account for the period on the code.

Step by step

You need the code from your order email.

On viu.com Web (PC)

  1. Go to viu.com and click Member in the top right corner.
  2. Click Redeem Code, then Sign in to Redeem.
  3. Enter the Redemption Code and tick I'm not a robot.
  4. Click Next.

In the Android app Android

  1. Open the Viu app and tap the Viu logo in the top left corner.
  2. Tap Redeem Code, then Sign in to Redeem.
  3. Enter the Redemption Code and tick I'm not a robot.
  4. Tap Next.

Can I redeem a Viu code in the iPhone app?

Viu's help center only lists steps for the web and the Android app. On an iPhone or iPad, redeem on viu.com in a browser, then sign in to the app with the same account.

What does Premium add over the free version?

No video ads, video downloads and Full HD, plus access to all content, including paid titles.

I redeemed a code but do not see Premium. What should I check?

Make sure you are signed in to the same Viu account you used to redeem. If you also subscribed through Apple or Google, your store ID may be linked to a different Viu account.

How do I check my Premium status?

On viu.com, open My Profile and select the Viu Paid Service tab. For App Store or Google Play subscriptions, check the store's subscription settings.

Do Viu plans renew automatically?

Paid plans bought by card, e-wallet, App Store or Google Play renew until you cancel at least 24 hours before the billing date. Viu does not say how redemption-code periods end.

What if the code doesn't work?

Check that your account is set to the right country and that you entered the code exactly. If it still fails, contact us with your order number and a screenshot of the message.
