A code that adds money to the Gift Card Balance in your Twitch Wallet. You spend it on channel subscriptions, gift subs, Bits and Twitch Turbo.
Step by step
You need the code from your order email.
On the web twitch.tv/redeem
- Go to twitch.tv/redeem and log in to your Twitch account.
- Enter the code from your gift card.
- Confirm your country of residence if asked; it must match the card's currency.
- Finish redeeming. The value appears in your Twitch Wallet at twitch.tv/wallet.
During checkout Channel page
- On twitch.tv, start buying a sub or Bits on any channel.
- At checkout, select Redeem Now.
- Enter the code, select your country of residence and complete the purchase.
On a phone Mobile browser
- Open twitch.tv/redeem in your phone's web browser, not the Twitch app.
- Log in and enter the code.
- Buy subs or Bits in the browser; the balance cannot be used in the iOS or Android app.

Can I use my balance in the Twitch mobile app?
No. Use twitch.tv in your phone's web browser instead. What you buy there shows up in the app.
Will my balance renew my subs automatically?
Twitch applies Wallet balance from gift cards to your upcoming subscriptions. If a purchase costs more than your balance, the rest must come from another payment method.
I live in the UK. Can I use a euro card?
No. UK residents need a pound card. Euro cards only work for residents of the 25 listed EU countries.
Can I send my balance to a friend?
No. Gift Card Balance cannot be moved to another person or account. You can use it to buy them a gift sub instead.
Where do I check my balance?
At twitch.tv/wallet, or from your account dropdown menu.
What if the code doesn't work?
Check that your account is set to the right country and that you entered the code exactly. If it still fails, contact us with your order number and a screenshot of the message.
