Step by step
You need the code from your order email.
Existing account sling.com
- Sign in at sling.com/my-account.
- Select Add Gift Card.
- Enter the gift card PIN/number and select REDEEM.
- The full value is added to your account balance.
New customer sling.com
- Go to sling.com/deals/gift-card and choose the new user option.
- Create a Sling account and choose a plan.
- Enter the gift card code at checkout and select Apply.

Can I use a gift card if I pay for Sling through Apple, Google or Amazon?
No. The Add Gift Card option only appears on eligible accounts billed directly by Sling.
Can a gift card pay for a Day Pass?
No. Gift cards cannot pay for 1 Day, 3 Day or 7 Day Passes, promotional offers, devices, on-demand rentals or invoices that were already generated.
Is the card used up in one month?
The whole value is credited to your Sling account balance at once, and the balance goes toward your monthly Sling plan.
Do I still need a credit card?
To make changes to your subscription you need a backup payment method, such as a debit or credit card or another gift card.
Does Sling renew automatically?
Yes. Sling plans are month to month and continue until you cancel. Once the gift card balance is used, you need another payment method to keep the service.
What if the code doesn't work?
Check that your account is set to the right country and that you entered the code exactly. If it still fails, contact us with your order number and a screenshot of the message.
