A prepaid code that adds balance to a Netflix account. Netflix takes each payment for your streaming plan from that balance until it runs out.
Step by step
You need the code from your order email.
Existing members Web
- Go to netflix.com/redeem.
- Enter the code and click Redeem.
- Enter the email address of your Netflix account.
- When you see the confirmation, select Start Watching. Your next payment comes from the balance.
New members Web
- Go to netflix.com/redeem, enter the code and click Redeem.
- Enter an email address, click Continue, then Create Account.
- Choose a plan and click Next, then create a password and click Next.
- Add a payment method or skip that step, then select Start Membership.
Netflix questions
Does it work if I already have Netflix?
Yes. Redeem it on your account and your next payments come from the balance. It does not work if you pay through Apple or get Netflix in a partner package. Apple-billed members must cancel, wait for the account to close, then restart with the card.
Can an extra member use a gift card?
No. Gift and promo codes cannot be applied to extra member accounts, which are paid by someone else. Netflix suggests creating a separate account.
Can I use a US card outside the US?
Only if your Netflix bill is in US dollars. The card currency must match your billing currency.
What happens when the balance runs out?
Netflix emails you 7 days before. Add another gift card or a payment method to keep watching; otherwise paid access stops when the balance is used up.
Where can I see my remaining balance?
On the Billing Details or Membership page of your account. The end date shown is an estimate, because plan changes or local taxes change how fast the balance is used.
What if the code doesn't work?
Check that your account is set to the right country and that you entered the code exactly. If it still fails, contact us with your order number and a screenshot of the message.
