A code that adds account credit equal to the card's value to a Hulu account. Hulu uses the credit to pay for an eligible Hulu plan each billing period until it runs out.
Step by step
You need the code from your order email.
New subscribers Web
- Go to hulu.com/start/gifting (hulu.com/gift leads there too).
- Enter the gift card code.
- Create your Hulu account and choose an eligible plan.
- Add a payment method only if you pick a service the credit does not cover.
Current subscribers Web
- Sign in to your account at hulu.com.
- Go to hulu.com/gift, or open your Account page and choose the gift card option.
- Enter the code to add the credit to your account.

Can I add it to my current Hulu plan?
Yes, if Hulu bills you directly. Redeem it at hulu.com/gift or from your Account page. Hulu says subscribers billed by a third party other than Amazon or Roku cannot apply gift cards for now.
What happens to leftover credit if I cancel?
It is forfeited. Hulu's terms say unused gift credit is lost when you cancel your subscription, so use it up first.
What happens when the credit runs out?
Unless you have added a payment method, your account cancels once the credit is used. Add a card before or after that point to keep watching.
Can I move the credit to another account?
No. Once redeemed, access cannot be transferred to another person or another Hulu account.
What if the code doesn't work?
Check that your account is set to the right country and that you entered the code exactly. If it still fails, contact us with your order number and a screenshot of the message.
