A gift card code that adds money to the Epic Account Balance of an Epic Games account. The balance is in the card's currency and can be spent on the Epic Games Store and in Epic's own games.

You need the code from your order email.
In a web browser Web
- Go to epicgames.com/redeem, or scan the QR code on the card with your phone.
- Sign in to the Epic Games account you want to add the money to.
- Enter the PIN from the card.
- Confirm to add the amount to your Epic Account Balance.

Can I use my Epic balance on PlayStation or Xbox?
Not in the console stores. You can buy V-Bucks with your balance on PC, mobile or the web, and V-Bucks then appear on PlayStation and Xbox through Fortnite Shared Wallet if your accounts are linked.
Will V-Bucks bought with my balance show on Nintendo Switch?
No. Nintendo devices do not support Fortnite Shared Wallet. You can spend those V-Bucks in the web Item Shop and the items show on Switch if your Nintendo Account is linked.
Can I redeem a card in a different currency?
No. Epic requires the card currency to match your Epic Account Balance currency.
Is there a limit on how much I can add?
Yes. Epic limits the balance and transactions to 500 US dollars (or the local equivalent) in any 24 hours and 5,000 US dollars in any 12 months.
Can a child's account use the balance?
Accounts for younger players may be limited to Epic's own games like Fortnite, Rocket League and Fall Guys until a parent or guardian gives consent for other purchases.
What if the code doesn't work?
Check that your account is set to the right country and that you entered the code exactly. If it still fails, contact us with your order number and a screenshot of the message.
