A US EA Gift Card code sold under the EA Play name. It adds US dollars to the EA Wallet of an EA Account, which you can spend on EA Play or other purchases in the EA app and on EA.com. It is not a membership code by itself.
Step by step
You need the code from your order email.
In your EA Account Web
- Sign in to your EA Account and open the Payment and Wallet tab.
- Select EA Wallet, then Add Funds.
- Type in the EA Gift Card code, then read and accept the Terms and Conditions.
- Select Submit. The funds go into your EA Wallet.

Can I use this card on PlayStation or Xbox?
No. The EA Wallet is used in the EA app and on EA.com, which are PC and web. EA Play on PlayStation or Xbox is bought through the PlayStation Store or the Microsoft Store.
Is this a code for an EA Play membership?
No. It adds money to your EA Wallet. You then choose EA Play or EA Play Pro in the EA app, and EA uses your wallet balance first when you pay.
Is there a limit on my EA Wallet?
Yes. Under the US terms the wallet can hold up to 300 US dollars, and you can spend up to 200 US dollars from it per day.
Can I use it on Steam or Epic Games Store?
No. Wallet funds are spent in the EA app and on EA.com. EA Play bought on Steam or Epic is a separate membership that only works on that store.
Do I need EA Play if I have Game Pass?
EA says Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass already include EA Play on PC. EA Play Pro is not included with Game Pass.
What if the code doesn't work?
Check that your account is set to the right country and that you entered the code exactly. If it still fails, contact us with your order number and a screenshot of the message.
